Vendors on Canal Street in Chinatown sell illegal copies copies of music CD's and DVD's and videos of current films

Vendors on Canal Street in Chinatown sell illegal copies copies of music CD's and DVD's and videos of current films on August 3, 2002. The bootleg copies are gleaned from a variety of sources including videotaping a film inside of theaters or copying an existing disc or tape. The multi-million dollar business steals intellectual property with no royalties going to the artists or to any of the companies that produce the products. (© Richard B. Levine)
