A uniform ensemble for a captain of the Guard du Corps Regiment, 1814 - 1825 Custom collector's piece incorporating older parts, predominantly from the 19th century. Crested helmet with gilt brass skull and finely embossed comb with recumbent lion, bearskin crest, band and visors applied with sealskin and gilt oak leaves, silver plated cockade, medusa heads. The obverse of the comb with royal cypher "MJ". Leather lined visors.
