The small estate of 44 flats at 269 Leigham Court Road in Streatham, South London, was designed by Kate Macintosh in the early 1970s. It is currently (June 2014) used for sheltered housing by Lambeth council who are proposing to sell it to help fund a refurbishment programme of their homes for the elderly. Residents, with the support of campaigners The Twentieth Century Society and Docomomo, have passed a petition to English Heritage asking them to list the scheme as they fear that a purchaser will wish to demolish it. Lambeth Council have said that there are no plans for demolition.
