Rutland Arms pub by the Persistence Works Studios in Sheffield


From Yorkshire Artspace website: Persistence Works, designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects, is the UK’s first purpose built studio complex for artists and craftspeople. The building provides studio space for over seventy practicing artists and craftspeople in 53 studios as well as an exhibition space, offices and a meeting room. Since being built in 2000/1, it has been the winner of an RIBA Award, an RIBA Yorkshire White Rose award and a Civic Trust Award Commendation. The building was also a finalist in the Prime Ministers’ Better Public Building Awards in 2002.
