A Romanic monastery seal, Hadmersleben, 11th/12th century Circular, deeply carved matrix with central depiction of the Saints Paul and Peter sitting enthroned, behind them a monastery complex. Circumscription "S(IGILUM)". The reverse side with narrow spine and ring loop. The matrix slightly bent, two small cracks at the edge. 70 mm in diameter.
