WEST KALIMANTAN, INDONESIA: A MEXICAN STAND OFF between a wasp and a snake has been carefully photographed by a seventeen year-old student. One false move and either of these crawlies could have been in for a real sting in the tail. The mean-looking wasp can be seen sitting on the tip of the snake’s nose, while the reptile looks poised for action. If irritated enough this snake would not hesitate to strike and bite. Nature enthusiast and student Frenki Jung (17) snapped the encounter between the two natural predators, in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
