The Messeturm is a 63-storey, 257 m (843 ft) skyscraper and is the second tallest building in Frankfurt, the second tallest building in Germany and the second tallest building in the European Union. Frankfurt am Main is a metropolis and the largest city of the German federal state of Hesse, and its 746,878 (2017) inhabitants make it the fifth-largest city in Germany.
