schmidt hammer lassen were commissioned to design an extension to IBC's existing campus building in central Kolding. At the heart of the extension is a striking three-storey atrium, with a reflecting pool on the ground floor. Classrooms flank the atrium, while seminar spaces are punched into the upper level. A zig-zag glass and metal staircase rises through the space, with offices and seating areas surrounding the mirror pond on the ground floor.
