A Central Asian sword with a bronze grip and iron blade, early Iron Age, end of the 2nd millennium - early 1st millennium BC, Sword forged in two parts with a circular bronze grip, the lower edge of which has been worked into a hilt with two brackets that enclose the iron blade. A medial ridge is still discernible on the corroded surface of the blade.
