13/06/21 Locally produced cakes. When three poultry farmers wanted more local customers to be able to buy their free range eggs, they decided setting a vending machine would be the simplest way. Full story here: After a little planning, they hatched a much greater plan - to turn the far-end of a giant chicken shed, in Willington, Derbyshire into an automated shop where other local producers could sell their produce too. Following a continental and Japanese trend, BettyÕs Farm, the largest vending machine shop in Europe, has just opened its doors (or should we say lockers?) to the tech-savvy public.
