Thunderbirds perform a flyover in the Philippines, during a six-week goodwill deployment for the team’s first Far East tour in 1959. The Thunderbirds aircraft at the time was the F-100C but due to the aircrafts lack of in-flight refueling capabilities did the tour with barrowed F-100Ds from the 18th Tactical Fighter Wing from Kadena Air Base, Japan.
