Campdevànol (officially and in Catalan Campdevànol), formerly called San Cristóbal de Campdevanol, is a Spanish municipality in the Ripollés region in the province of Gerona, Catalonia, north of Ripoll, to the right of the Freser river and its tributary the Merdás . Between the years 1842 and 1857 (census data), the term of the municipality grows because it incorporates San Quintín de Puigrodón. At the end of the 19th century, the term of the municipality grows because it incorporates the municipality of San Lorenzo.
