A South German engraved copper jug,17th century Globular bellied body made of chased copper,the base and lip reinforced by brass collars. Narrow spout,hinged lid,riveted strap handle. Both body and lid with gadrooned ornaments,the neck bears engraved band decoration. The interior tin coated. Height 23 cm. Decorated wine jug in high-quality workmanship.
