Common Bird's-Foot Trefoil, Lotus corniculatus is a common annual wild flower. The low growing plant is found in meadows and pastures where it survives animal grazing. It is related to the pea family and due to the pink tipped buds and bright yellow flowers is commonly known as Eggs and Bacon.
