Der Deutscher Dom - one of 2 almost identical churches - the other is the Französischer Dom - on the elegant square Gendarmenmarkt in central Berlin - Berlin Mitte - Built in 1708 with a galleried dome designed by Carl von Gontard added in 1785. It is now home to an exhibition called 'Milestones - Setbacks - Sidetracks' about the path to parliamentary democracy in Germany.
