First light stretches over the plains of the Koup Karoo. This view is from De Jagers Pass on the top of the Nuweveld Mountain Range that lies to the north of Beaufort West and looks south toward the Swartberg Mountains on the horizon, a straight distance of more than a hundred kilometers. Co-ordinates. 32° 04' " South & 22° 44' " East. Elevation = 1324m.
