Old Tubular Corn water mill. Klosterser Mülliweg. Klosters. Switzerland

On the Klosterser Mülliweg stands a small water-powered tubular grain mill. It was an important element of the cultural landscape right into the 19th century. When turbines, steam engines and gas motors took the place of such mills, the remaining ones were dismantled or left to decay. This development was also true in Klosters. Only the tubular mill below has been kept alive to this day. It has been registered as a listed building since 1960. Every year various milling days are held, which are published on the events calendar. Viewings are possible any time on request.
