Detail of a 16th century stained glass window depicting St Anne teaching the Virgin to read, St Bartholomew's Church, Blore Ray, Staffordshire. The window is probably datable to circa1519 and by Robert Power of Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. In the light adjacent to this scene there a window made by the same workshop depicting other fragmentary remains; Jesus with a crown of thorns and another saintly figure and a 15th century donor figure (see images BKEWD9 and BKEW3B).
