CULTURE —Seed is likely to rot if planted in cold ground. About middle of May when soil is warm plant in hills 3 feet apart each way, covering about 8 to 10 seeds half an inch and thin out to three plants to a hill, or plant in rows 3 feet apart, and thin out plants to stand 12 inches apart in the rows.
