The small ferry ISEFJORD enters the ferry berth at Hundested Harbour after the short journey across the mouth of the Isefjord. The ferry service connects the towns Rørvig and Hundested and saves motorists a long drive south of the fiord. The Isefiord is a 35 km long threshold fiord like many Norwegian fiords, which means it is considerably deeper in the inner waters than at the mouth of the fiord. Right after the mouth the inlet or fiord divides into Isefjord and Roskilde Fiord / Inlet.
