Original WW1 era postcard, during the early part of the war, of cheerful, happy young recruits scrubbing down benches at a training camp, possibly members of the Hampshire Regiment, at Aldershot Camp, Hampshire, circa 1914 1915
This postcard was in a book of postcards that had belonged to a lady in Portsmouth who had three sons who served in WW1, they were all in the Hampshire Regiment, sadly only two sons survived. It is believed that this photo was taken at Aldershot camp.
