A Chalcidian helmet, type V, early 4th century BC, Bronze helmet, formerly with full-faced tin plating, partly still preserved on skull and cheek pieces. The medial part is decorated with contoured ribs at the eye and ear cutouts. Between the eyebrows a lancet-shaped nose guard. The rear section terminates in a slightly curved neck guard separated on both sides by a small fuller. The high skull is divided into two lobes by a medial ridge and separated from the medial part by a distinct step pointing upwards above the forehead.
