A Hellenistic helmet of Pilos type, 4th/3rd century A bronze helmet with a rounded, conical bowl and a distinctly offset rim. The bowl is encircled by parallel horizontal lines, a result of the manufacturing process. Two lateral holes for a chinstrap, whose rims are rather jagged, were obviously punched through from the inside. Reddish-brown patina, with original find patina on the inside. The metallic substance is completely preserved, with only minor additions to the brim, and some deformation to the crown. Height 21 cm, weight 889 g. A simple, but well ,
