A Hellenistic helmet of Pilos type, 4th/3rd century A bronze helmet with a rounded, conical bowl and a distinctly offset rim. The bowl is encircled by parallel horizontal lines, a result of the manufacturing process. Two lateral holes for a chinstrap, whose rims are rather jagged, were obviously punched through from the inside. Reddish-brown patina, with original find patina on the inside.
