A small Enghalskrug, Bayreuth, circa 1735. Blue faience in hues of blue. Globular fluted jug on a spreading foot, slender ribbed neck with flared lip and braided handle. The front embellished with a cartouche displaying chinoiserie décor surrounded by scrolling leaves. Hinged pewter lid with fluted thumb lever. The base with blue maker's mark "BK" (Bayreuth Knöller).
