All-sky Gaia map of interstellar dust in the Milky Way. Dark regions at the centre of the Galactic plane (horizontal band across image) show areas with a lot of interstellar dust. Yellow regions of the map indicate areas with decreasing amount of interstellar dust. Dark blue regions above and below the Galactic plane show places where little interstellar dust is observed.
