Red and Yellow Barbet. Family, Capitonidae. Number of species, 32. The Red and Yellow Barbet is a strikingly marked bird with white spots on the mantel, wings and tail and a narrow black band with white spots across the breast. Males have a black patch in the centre of the throat.
