A French knightly sword,circa 1450 Slender thrusting-blade with a strong midrib on either side. Ridged quillons slightly bent towards the blade. Well replaced grip wound with cord and covered with leather. On the side disk pommel with two ridges with deepened nave on both sides. The pommel probably not part of the original sword. Length 89,5 cm.
