An engineering feat, the Seven Mile Bridge in Florida's middle Keys, at golden sunset, connects Knight's Key (Marathon) to Little Duck Key, USA.

The Seven Mile Bridge is a bridge in the Florida Keys, in Monroe County, Florida, United States. It connects Knight's Key (part of the city of Marathon, Florida) in the Middle Keys to Little Duck Key in the Lower Keys. The old seven mile bridge stands right alongside the new seven mile bridge in the Florida Keys. The modern bridge is open to vehicular traffic; the older one only to pedestrians, anglers and cyclists. In the Florida Keys, there is no name better known than Henry Flagler who built the world-famous Oversea Railway in the early 1900s. Called the "8th Wonder of the World", this amazing ribbon of steel and concrete forever changed the history of the Florida Keys. Among the longest bridges in existence when it was built, it is part of the Overseas Highway in the Keys, which is part of the 2,369-mile US Route 1.
