Members of the Jewish community, religious leaders, and elected officials rallied in response to a recent increase in Anti-semitic acts in Sheepshead Bay and at Brooklyn College. Most of the attendees were Jews who had emigrated to the to escape anti-semitism in Russia. Among them were elderly, Holocaust survivors.
