Detail of Plant grown your 200-year-old seeds stolen by a British pirate from a ship returning from the South African cape in 1806. The seeds have been kept in the National Archives, The Tower of London & Chatham house before being given to Kew's seed bank in 2006 to grow. The plants and seeds are part of Kew Gardens millennium seed bank collection at the satellite research facility Wakehurst place, West Sussex.
