Champix (active molecule : Varenicline) Champix is a drug recommended in the framework of tobacco withdrawal (date of authorization of commercialization : September 2006, commercialized in France beginning of 2007). It acts as a partial agonist of nicotinic receptors. Here, conditionning of the beginning of treatment : a week of tablets of 0,5 mg of varenicline (white on blue background) then a week of tablets of 1 mg of varenicline (light blue on green background).
