They are borne in great profusion from May until frost, after the plant is established, and if the seed is sown early in boxss in the house or hot-bed, will give abundance of flowers the first season. The plants grow from twelve to fifteen inches high, and are very valuable for bedding as well aS cutting, for when massed together their mass of bloom produces a most brilliant efifect. In addition the plants are perennial, flowering with un- diminished splendor for several years. We advise all our customers to try this variety. Pkt. 10c., 3 pkts. DAHLIAS. Dahlias, especially the single varieties, can easily be raised from seed by sowing the seed in a box or pot in February or March and transplant into other pots as the plants commence to crowd.
