Two young African elephants playing under the watchful eye of their mother.
The photo was taken at a distance so as to not disturb the natural behaviour of the elephant herd, particularly the juveniles who were playing together oblivious to our presence. The mother was standing nearby (partly obscured). It was late afternoon in summer and all the action took place in the shade of a large tree.
