A Bamileke ceremonial stool,Cameroon,Grasslands,before 1920 A round seat on crouched leopard figures,circular base. Partly covered with blue and red cloth and embroidered with dark blue and white beads. Cloth somewhat bleached,light marks of wear and age. Height 35 cm. Diameter of the seat 36 cm.
