Saint Alfege Greenwich. in the East End of London. One of the 'Fifty New Churches' or 'Queen Anne Churches'. Built by Nicholas Hawksmoor 1712-18. The tower was refaced by John James in 1730. Hawksmoor’s own plans were not used, but reappear at St George-in- the-East.
