Gardens of ninfa, Lazio. Italy
The beautiful gardens of Ninfa ramble through medieval ruins and are an enchanting experience. They are in Lazio and are still a well kept secret. In the Middle Ages Ninfa was abandoned and it was not until the 20th century that part of it was made into a botanical garden. It lies nestle under the hills and faces a coastal plain producing a very wide variety of plant species.
