Common Sorrel / Rumex acetosa flower buds.

Common Sorrel [Rumex acetosa] is the wild version of the domesticated sorrel species. The leaves of the wild plant can be eaten in salads or cooked. However, they contain oxalic acid (which gives them their acidic taste) which can be toxic in large quantities.
