German military parade in Paris, June 1940. General Kurt von Briesen watching from the top of the Arc de Triomphe as the parade passes along the Avenue Foch. Von Briesen commanded the 30th Infantry Division during the invasion of France. He was killed in action on the Russian Front in 1941. The photographer is unknown.
