In this section of the Berg the course of the mountainous ledgeis broken into a zig-zag line, as shown on the map on page 322, in which it will be noticedthere is a retiring angle, or a bay, set back from the sea towards the north-west ; and aprominent angle, or projection, directed south-eastwards towards the sea. As already indicated,the parts of the range which are concerned in the formation of these angles, are about theboldest and loftiest of the broken chain.
