Seven-tiered ruin of the 10th century Khmer Prang pyramid in Koh Ker, Cambodia, which is hours north of Siem Reap & Angkor.

The Prang pyramid is shown framed between the ruins of its gate. Koh Ker contains 10th century Khmer temples and other ruins. It has not been fully reclaimed from the jungle or restored and is much more primitive than nearby Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. Remotely located, many important stone carvings have been looted. As this photo shows, much of interest remains.
