Joel Joffe, (the attorney who in 1963 defended Nelson Mandela and the ANC at the Rivonia trials in South Africa), now has written his story of that period for the first time, appearing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Edinburgh, Scotland, on Wednesday 19th August 2009. This years festival is the 26th Book Festival to be held in Edinburgh, the first UNESCO designated City Of Literature.
