The subjoined specimen (Fig. 241) of an-other species, is from the tomb of Ron, whokept his kennel admirably stocked, duringthe Xllth dynasty. This dog is beautifullydrawn and colored on the monument, andis one of the most superb canine relics ofantiquity.
