View along the River Arno in Pisa Tuscany towards the Palazzo Agnostini Venorsi della Seta. The Palazzo dates from the fifteenth century and amalgamated several medieval buildings. The terracotta facade is a fine example of Gothic architecture. The Cafe dell'Ussero, dating from 1775, was a meeting place for scientists and men of culture during the nineteenth century. At the rear is the Cinema Lumiere, dating from 1905, is the oldest still operating in Italy.
