Eton, Windsor, Berkshire, UK. 7th February, 2023. The former Cockpit restaurant in Eton High Street is finally under new ownership and urgent repairs are being made to this famous historic building. The Cockpit is one of the oldest buildings in Eton dating back to the 1440s and is a Half Wealden, one of the best remaining examples left in England. It is to eventually reopen as an inn with rooms.
