Menhirs (standing stones) from the Megalithic era Cromlech of Almendres, close to Evora in the Alentejo, Portugal.


The Megalithic enclosure has 95 standing stones and is the biggest site of its type in the Iberian Peninsula. The site known as Alto das Pedras Talhas (Hill of the Stone Amphorae) is at least 7000 years old.
