The high-rise housing estate at Kölnberg was completed in 1974. It comprises nine high-rise buildings, up to 26 stories high, with a total of 1,300 apartments. Up to 4,000 people from several dozen different nations live here. The housing estate on the outskirts of Cologne is considered a social hotspot.
