GURAH, NORTH OF ELWAK, EASTERN KENYA, 1st SEPTEMBER 2009: Pastoralist dropout Yusef Issak, 42, father of 8, is looking after his family while his wife has gone to Elwak in search of food. She recently miscarried after carrying 20 litres of water over 11 kms from Elwak. Northern Aid water tankers supplies water to Gurah community. The weekly delivery of water lasts for four days.
