Symbol for "West Ponente" who blows winds from the west in St Peter's Square at Vatican City

This relief, by Bernini, is located at St. Peter's Square in Vatican City. It is called West Ponente (the West Wind) and is also known as Respiro di Dio (the breath of God). About three feet long, the relief has a simple face with the countenance of an angel. Bernini created a powerful gust of air, coming from the mouth, and sent it outward, away from the Vatican
