A photo taken during a Japanese attack on the USS Enterprise,on the afternoon of 24 August 1942. The Japanese bomb hit the flight deck of the aircraft carrier. The striking image shows the moment that the bomb explodes. Unhappily the photographer lost his life while taking picture.
