The German name of the town Calau means joke in The small town claims the joke has been invented just right here in town. Which is a joke in itself. All through the town you find plates with jokes on them, or funny sculptures or funny grafitti. Anyway, people in Calau or Joke City have humour. The joke on the board runs: Why are there two hands at the clock of Calau church? So that two people can read it at the same time.
